Preserving the Environment for the Future

Environment awareness means being aware of the natural environment and making choices that benefit the earth, rather than to hurt it. Some ways to ptactice environmental awareness is to use safe and non-toxic building supplies, conserving energy and water, recycling, activism and others.
Environmental awareness is very important because it advocates a sense of connection to the ntural world and it promotes sustainable development and encourages conservation of irreplaceable natural resources and vulnerable plant and animal species. Environmental awareness essentially serves as an education tool, helping people around the world understand the economic importance of preserving resources and reducing the harmful impacts of man-made conversion.
This month of November is also the Environmental Awareness Month. We need to practice and apply environmental awareness so that our environment will be preserved for the future generations.

Filipino Values

Filipinos are bonded together by common values and traits that are taught at home and being applied in our daily lives.
There are many good values and traits Fikipinos have. Filipinis are family-oriented. filipinos are known for having strong and close famuly ties. They prioritize their families over others. In other countries, when a person turned 18, he or she can live away from his or her family, but in the Philippines, they value their family so much that they stay with them through the years. Filipinos are respectful. Some ways to show their respect is to us "Po at Opo" "Pagmamano" and calling their older siblings or elders "Ate o Kuya." Filipinos re God-fearing. Although we Filipinos have different religions, we always put God in the center of our lives. And the most popular Filipino Value is that Filipinos are very hospitable. When they are expecting visitors, they will do a lot of preparations for good entertainment and accomodations so that they will feel at home and enjoy the stay.
And in this month of November, we are celebrating the Filipino Values Month. This will help us keep ourselves together as one people of one blood.

This year, United Nations is celebrating its 74th year with a theme: "Indigenous languages matter for sustainable development peace building and reconciliation."
Un General Assembly proclaimed this year as the International Year of Indigenous Language in order to raise global attention on the critical risks confronting indigenous languages and its significance for sustainable development, reconciliation, good governance  and peace building. This years celebration will contribute to the access and promotion of indigenous language and to improvement in the lives of indigenous people.
This years celebration is opening an oppurtunity for the indigenous people to speak for their own. Itcan lso serve as a promotion of the indigenous languages so that people will appreciate the beauty of the indigenous languages. And it can also improve the lives of the indigenous people by strengthening the capacities of indigenous language speakers and relevant indigenous people's organization. Unity is strength, Division is weakness. As Mother Theresa says "I can do things I cannot, you can do things I cannot; Together we can do great things."

Enjoy Learning

Second quarter of our ICT 10 was okay for me because I'm listening to the lessons and instructions of our teacher. Especially in our lesson about HTML. As part of our lesson HTML, different activities were given to us by our teacher. I enjoyed doing those activities by following the instructions of our teacher.
There are some problems and challenges I have encountered during our ICT 10 Second Quarter. In doing our activities about HTML, everytime I try to check or try to see my activity there is something wrong about it. In doing our blog I still encountered some problems especially in doing them. Beacuse of our busy schedule, I didn't manage my time properly in doing our blogs.
While doing our activity, I tried to go back or read again those instructions so that I can see my mistakes and also I tried to ask for the help of my classmates. And in doing my blogs,I tried to do them in my freetime, if I have vacanttime I tried to make my blogs.
Moving on, I will alaways listen and follow the instructions of our teacher and I will manage my time wisely in doing my requirements.

My Super Teacher

Teacher's Day, a day to thank our teachers for their sacrifices care and love for us. A day to remember that they are not just our teachers but our second parents.
But everytime our teacher's tell story about themselves I still have a question in my mind "What do teachers do?" We all know that the first goal of our teachers is to educate us, their students. A great teacher love educating students, and one of the principal goals many teachers set for themselves is to be the best educator they can be. A teacher also inspire students. Teachers seek to inspire students in all aspects of their lives, and for many teachers, their greatest goal is to be a role model. A role model is someone who inspires and encourages students to strive for greatness, and teaches them through experience and commitment how to realize their full potential to become the best they can be. Teachers also learn from their students. Teaching is one of those careers where you learn something new every day, and many educators cite this as one of the main things they hope to get out of their career. When a teacher says their goal is to "make a difference", this is what they mean. They not only want to change the lives of their students, they want to change the face of education.

ISNHS Intramurals 2019

ISNHS celebrated the Intramurals 2019 last September 12-14, 2019 with a theme: Enhancing Happy School Movement Through Sports and Dances.
School is a place where students are nurtured toward becoming a responsible member of the society. School is where students learn different things. English helps students in terms of verbal and written communication. Mathematics and Science helps students to enhance their reasoning skills. Social Studies helps to socualize and be aware of what is happening in their environment and Physical Education encourages students to have active lifestyle and practice the arts of winning, losing and teamwork. Sports Feasts or Intramurals promote camaraderie among students, teaches discipline and the value teamwork and sportsmanship among students, it also helps students to have self-confidence in showcasing their talents and sports is a good pastime for students rather than using gadgets or electronic devices.
Sports build strong bonds within the community.
